Tree Removal Application

Did you know that Dorchester County has a Tree and Canopy Protection Standard? This ordinance was implemented to protect trees that are greater than 15" diameter at chest height--unless they are pine, in which case it is 24". Trees that fall into this category require county permission prior to removal. The below attachment is the application form that must be submitted prior to removing protected trees.
